Dr Mansoor Mirkazemi performs a comprehensive range of cosmetic and reconstructive breast procedures. These include breast augmentation using implants, Breast Reconstruction, mastopexy (breast lift), breast reduction, and combined augmentation-mastopexy procedures.

Body Surgery

Body contouring procedures performed by Dr Mirkazemi include abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), including Medicare-indicated cases where clinically appropriate, as well as arm lift, thigh lift, and body lift surgery for patients following significant weight change. Neck liposuction and selected fat grafting procedures may also be considered in appropriate cases.

Facial Surgery

Dr Mirkazemi performs a range of facial surgical procedures.

These include facelift and neck lift surgery, upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), brow lift surgery, otoplasty( ear surgery) and rhinoplasty.

Rhinoplasty may involve open or closed techniques depending on individual assessment. As with all procedures, suitability is determined following consultation and clinical evaluation.

Skin & Non-Surgical

Dr Mirkazemi also offers(replacenwith this) At Collins St Plastic Surgery & Skin Aesthetics, we offer selected non-surgical treatments following clinical assessment. These may include fat dissolving treatments, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, radiofrequency needling(PRP), high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) and CoolSculpting.
Treatment recommendations are based on individual assessment. Risks, benefits, alternatives, expected recovery and costs are discussed prior to proceeding.

Dr Mansoor Mirkazemi is a registered medical practitioner (MED0001200720) with Specialist Registration in Surgery (Plastic Surgery). He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and has completed accredited specialist plastic surgery training in Australia. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Mirkazemi is actively involved in surgical education and training, contributing to the development of future surgeons while maintaining his own ongoing professional development through national and international conferences.

Dr Mansoor is a Board Member of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, a Faculty Member of Anatomy for Injectors, and the Head of Breast Reconstruction Unit at Monash Health.

Dr Marjan Yazdian graduated from medical school in 2011 and is a qualified Australian General Practitioner with demonstrable interest and expertise in cosmetic procedures and emergency medicine. Marjan is a fellow of the Royal Australian Collage of General Practitioners and is currently working at IPN medical centres (Sonic Health Group) both in St Kilda and Sandhurst super clinics.

Marjan has adapted and enhanced her clinical skills in cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery by assisting experienced plastic surgeons over the last 10 years which has enhanced her expertise in performing cosmetic procedures.

She has published her thesis on the impact of abdominoplasty on wellbeing and self-esteem while other areas of interest in plastic and cosmetic research, clinical trials and innovations include:

Surgical procedures are performed in accredited hospitals or licensed day surgery facilities with appropriately qualified anaesthetics support.

Surgical Planning

If surgery is considered appropriate following consultation and clinical assessment, further planning may include:

  • A second consultation to review treatment options and confirm suitability
  • Medical Imaging or additional investigations where indicated
  • Review and completion of informed consent documentation

The timing of any procedure will only be arranged once the patient has had sufficient opportunity to consider the information provided.

In accordance with Medical Board of Australia guidelines for cosmetic surgery, a minimum 7-day coolinf off period applies following the second consultation before surgery can be booked or scheduled.

Post-Operative Care

Follow up care is an important component of surgical treatment.

Patients are scheduled for structured post operative appointments to monitor healing and recovery.
